The Zoo

The zoo spreads across woodland and restored prairie, home to bison and elk on the north range and to tigers, giraffes, zebras, and crowned cranes along the savanna loop. Wolves, foxes, and grizzlies hold the wooded side of the park, where shaded trails keep the walking cool through the middle of the day. Canopy Grill sits at the edge of the giraffe yard for lunch with a view, and the Zoo Train runs from the east gate to the Farm and the Botanic Garden beyond it.
